You may be familiar with I Brividosi, originally published in Italy by Mondadori/Edizioni Piemme (Il Battello a Vapore). The series, including series title/brand, is now available to license from us. We wish to discuss the Italian language rights of this series with you with a view to publishing this series in Italy. I Brividosi was a highly successful series for many years in Italy. Many of your readers will know I Brividosi and indeed, just like Goosebumps, I Brividosi appeals to new generations.
Originally published in the UK as Creepers, the series has been successful in various territories and is currently published very successfully by Flowerpot Press in the US and Ciranda Cultural in Brazil.
Key Highlights of This Opportunity:
Expanding an established Series: I Brividosi consists of 24 books across four series. Only 12 titles have been published in Italy, offering an opportunity to introduce new titles, thus encouraging longevity.
Creative Flexibility: When you license I Brividosi we allow full customization of character names and locations, enabling you to enhance inclusivity or adapt the setting to a modern or timeless era.
Flexible Licensing Terms: We are flexible regarding the duration of the publishing agreement, the royalty rate and advance payment.
Recognizable Brand Identity: Most international editions of Creepers feature a signature cover design of a gravestone motif, making the series recognizable across markets. However, we realise you will have your own artwork preferences.
Title & Market Considerations: While the series name I Brividosi holds strong recognition in Italy, we also acknowledge the marketing potential of maintaining the English title Creepers. Given the popularity of the term ‘Creeper’ among younger audiences due to the Minecraft franchise, we offer the series titles Creepers as an option. But we are happy to support whichever title strategy you prefer, including an alternative one – if you deem it appropriate.

HOW WE WORK
We license the text to you for you to publish in your territory.
When you agree to license Brividosi/Creepers text from us we give you permission to use the text any way you wish. You have permission to change characters’ names to local names in case that helps readers in your territory identify more easily with the story. You can publish as many titles as you like!
With our publishing partners we work on a royalty advance and then annual royalty payments. We are flexible on royalty rates depending on how many copies and how many titles you print on your territory. We are also flexible on the amount of years any publishing agreement will run for.
Mondadori (under Edizione Piemme) made a stunning success of Creepers in Italy with the brand name BRIVIDOSI and under the well-respected Il Battello a Vapore - Piemme Junior imprint.
Ciranda Cultural have had Creepers in print in Brazil for 10 years and still going strong.
